I completed a 18 day trip to Namibia with a short layover in Doha, Qatar - it was was another of those “bucket list” trips that was in the top five places I wanted to visit and photograph. The actual trip involved driving approximately 1,600 miles (2,600 kilometers) starting in Windhoek. I explored Sossusvlei, Deadvlei, the Skeleton Coast, the sand dunes outside Luderitz, Walvis Bay - home of one of the world’s best surfing breaks (Donkey Bay but it was flat) and the Zeila shipwreck. A great trip!
And my friend, Chris from Travelous, posted some new independent travel trips (just the way I like to travel) to Iceland. They look great, are very reasonably priced, and I think I’ll have to go to the Faroe Islands. It’s always been on my bucket list. Anyone want to join me? Maybe even some free photo lessons.
