I took an amazing trip during the month of October 2012. My itinerary took me from Los Angeles to Tokyo, and then Tokyo to Bangkok, where I stayed for four days. From Bangkok I flew to Kathmandu, Nepal and then onto Bhutan - a beautiful country. I returned to Kathmandu after a week in Bhutan and took a small turboprop to Lukla Airport - considered one of the most dangerous airports in the world.
I trekked for nine days through the Himalayas. I’d definitely put this trip in my top three trips - maybe Number One. My suggestion - if you have an opportunity to go, don’t pass it up. If you have any questions about my time in Nepal and/or Bhutan, just drop me an email.
Here is a link to my journal that I kept during my trek. I also have a few videos posted below the image of me in Namche Bazar, Nepal.
