I just recently spent a wonderful week in Cartagena, Colombia. It was sort of a last-minute trip. I made my flight plans on a Friday afternoon and was on the flight Sunday night heading first to Panama, and then to Colombia. It was a little over 48 hours from reservations to take-off - just the way I like to do a trip. Although is was quite warm, with a temperature-humidity index of around 105° F, it was a great trip. Wonderful people, delicious food (and mojitos), and great photo opportunities in the old walled section of Cartagena. A highly recommended trip.
