A plywood tribute to the 1956 James Dean/Liz Taylor film "Giant," was erected by artist John Cerney in October 2018. It is located on the west side of Marfa on Route 90. Parts of the movie were filmed at this spot. A Solar array plays country music by Michael Nesmith of The Monkees. It’s a must see if you are a fan of the movie.
