William Eggleston recently had a showing of his cloud images at the Gagosian Gallery in Beverly Hills. Here's a link to the show. The images are 44 by 60 inches, are listed as pigment prints (i.e. ink jet prints) and I understand that the images are selling for something like $180,000 each.
So, if anyone is interested in acquiring one of my cloud prints, I'd be happy to sell you one (the same size as above) for $5,000. What a deal. Granted, I don't have the name recognition of Eggleston, but maybe some day...
